SO WHO CAN OFFER KENALOG?
The answer in short is a non medic can not offer KENALOG INJECTIONS!
THE WHY?
KENALOG is a prescription-only injectable. It has the ability to suppress the immune system which makes it popular with Hayfever sufferers.
However it has side effects some of which can be nasty, these range from headaches to mental health issues.
Its worth noting here that the NHS stopped offering this service altogether due to these risks being deemed to high.
Unfortunately there are some practitioners and clinics who are still offering it despite the known side effect.
IN THE NEWS - CHILDREN AND KENALOG
Recently there have been two reported cases of private practitioners giving KENALOG to their children and offering this service to others via social media.
The first case involved a practitioner and her children in England and the second case was a practitioner in Scotland who used her own children to promote across social media the use of KENALOG.
Both cases were reported to the JCCP and are currently being investigated, both have now been reported to the police, social services, health authorities, and the ASA.
